Sans The Patreons Where were you With Eden's fawns? Dawn shall break The day is new And all I want to know Is where were you? Brave, the innocent Brave are those who meet you Deprived and indigent Are those who never meet you now I'm just an anvil Sitting on a rocky shore I'm just waiting For the sweet demise of war Emerging From a hole in the sky And all the people Telling why It's elemental. Looking out on The bold & waving colors That wash across The floor & the field And on to eternity. The sun is up And we are climbing I say that hat Was made just for you The sound of laughter Is food for the trees. A smile can shake The crystal stars from the night We put them on a string And tie it tight The dirt on my hands Is from digging Making my way Up through the soil I have emerged And am blooming Sending out a vine Around this mortal coil.

A bird inside your skull Is like a bird within your hand I'll speak it in a language That I think you'll understand A bird inside your skull Is like a bird within your hand There's more than cotton candy In the middle of the land Oliver knows it Oliver knows it again We're never gonna look inside The universe again The fall was way too serious To broker and amend We're never gonna look inside The universe again The light was way too glorious To suffer and offend Oliver knows it Oliver knows it again Camptown races have begun There's fire inside the firing lung We can't wait 'til she has sung The sleeping furnace fuels the sun The jolt inside your head is new Can you re-remind me what it is you do We look glacial when we dance And I'm hardly thinking it's our last chance

Talking of paradise There is a stone table in the woods. Holding hands with the city of angels Packing boxes To move back north. She liked the words I said there The students were angry And told me to leave. I just smiled and continued speaking Her eyes were sparkling, The daughter of Eve. I'm on my way out There is a secret language A way of knowing who is alright. I found myself on the opposite side On the roofs of buildings And under blue lights. I'm on my way out. The church of something I have been down this way before They make something of nothing It doesn't bother me anymore The church of nothing I've never been down this way before They make nothing of something I wish it didn't bother me anymore.

Even sound is verbose here You don't need to whisper We're close to the edge here And ordaining the sister The flying ships with towering masts Sail waves of clouds and stars Circling around the earth On the sound of brave guitars We are not alone; we're in it The captain cries, "Raise the sail! The woodland fox is coming to dinner With the crown and holy grail." Send up a kite so we can see you Hang white linen in the yard Lakes shine like mirrors And we have no combs Just the recollection of old photographs Tucked away in a trunk in the corner It's half past four And the sun is putting on its coat And preparing to leave for the day I am waiting to drop anchor. Bellicose boys And ginger peach girls Hands full of ribbons And lungs full of noise I see the ships Which sail the waves Of your blue hair. Your hand is not a kite But the color of the sun. You stand on the beach Like an hourglass of sand Whispering fragrant words To a flock of onyx birds. The future won't forget you Its name is lodged in the back of your throat. I can see you. A rainbow of lines Flows from your fingertips Clouds pass through your clear blue eyes And when you stand on your tiptoes, You can see under the door into heaven Tell us what you see there And do we want to be there? We are round and the world is square.

The curve of a crescent The syrupy sound of water Filling your ears And closing your eyes What do you see? What do you hear? Can you taste with your fingers? Can you smell the dirty leaves with your skin? I absorb light I stand under the stars and drink it in I inherit the spirit of the animal On the side of the road I soften the energy To blend in & not frighten away Thoughts race through the atmosphere Faster than the speed of light They cut through the core of the Earth As if it were non-existent They ring a bell Inside somebody's head We recognize this energy We know it without knowing The question is do we trust it? Do we listen to it? And do we do what it encourages us to do? Fond of anyone, The spoken hero So far from Nero Lives in effigy The pain of paused lips The rain all slow drips Down to the center Of everything That we believed in. Can you push the button higher? Are you calling me a liar? When I run, there is a fire In front of me.

Carry on, O Flora queen Drops of blue-green water fall on upturned faces. We weave with the wind In and through memories And all of the possible futures. Summon the clouds with a wave of the hand; The courage to travel beyond light Courses through my veins. Sunshine was poured into a body And I stand before you now: A supernatural flower.

Good Morning 08:12
Good morning Good something to do Good morning I love you Good morning Good is shining on you Good morning You know I love you Canonize the good look of everyone And don't be afraid Leave behind the angry & empty Their future is laid We work towards the stars In a light that's descending We don't need the old repertoires And no need pretending When your hand is counting everything And your cares are way down low People asking the question Where did the mockingbird go? And the pilgrim said to me, "I love the words that pass between I love the words that go unseen I love the magic in the thoughts that animate you The invisible connection between our minds" Love is a circle In so many ways Yellow wraps itself around Charms of glitter dance upon the breeze They float in through your open window And settle wherever they please Magic moves in sounds & colors It animates our celestial bodies Who has the key for the next dimension? We want to share the energy

Emily, that's no surprise Emily is twice her size She was tossed by an ocean wave But she stuck her hand out In order to save My soul Rare is the fountain From yesterday We kneel in the backseat Of hammered grey I have a split screen To discover you Fog in the market And a crystal bay- Be all the Joan of Arc you are Throw the television Out of the moving car Simply whistle And watch the sky bend down and pray You are the magic You are the Shangri-La The alarm clock walks to the edge of the bed And rings its little brass bells at me. Me, I am flying in a hot air balloon Over fields filled with words And roller coaster rides. I'm reminded of the monastery On the hill on the north side of town But there's no hill And no domed building. I know it all exists somewhere. She described the bridge I've crossed a million times And even named the city Though I cannot recall A photograph on the tip of my tongue Woven through the brightly colored fabric of other worlds That welcome me each night.

Posing in some English way Far from atom, far from the sway We are constant; the ships will stay I'll be odd & obvious: you choose the song we play Kings will rise up, and destroy our land They pray the mothers will somehow understand We may be little, but there's fire in our hand You've made a patent mockery Of the very place we stand There's a blue man looking out for you There's a hula girl making eyes at you There's a woman praying, her head bent low The golden man sits with his eyes closed Standing on a grand opinion Doesn't grant it full dominion When you trap me, I do pray Betting on some English way There's a long arm When children stray An outside miracle Sent by cathode ray mi fa Fa so la ti do

The Vision 04:13
Do you have the vision? Do you have permission? Do you know what the commission might say? We get tired of walking We get tired of talking We get tired of hearing All the empty words they say No one believes us We paint a picture No one can see us We try to focus the camera here Holding out our hands To try and catch The rain that is falling We know it all depends On launching something now Do you have the vision? Do you have permission? Do you know what the commission might say? We get tired of walking We get tired of talking We get tired of all the Empty words that they say.

Motor roller baby Motor roller baby now Does anyone see the light? Can anyone see the statuary? Does anyone make it right? Can anyone move us on from the wall? Lime & lemon sunshades Sheets blowing in the breeze I need to see you clearly Omnivision on my knees Our hands wave like a meadow Our core is a deep red wine She has flowers down the length of her arm The path of Woman is divine I recognized you the first time I saw you The tendrils of light started interweaving My soul is drawn to the ones it's supposed to be Everything else is deceiving Purple is the color Yellow is the aura all around The atmosphere is electric Every time you simply come around Turn around one time, I look the same Turn around two times, and I am different.

After we're gone ... What do you think animals might say? Who will use the instruments we play? Who will know that we were ever here? Who will tell the leaves it's been a year? Who will read the words written in the sand? Who will hold what you held so tightly in your hand? What will be the artifacts they find? Will there be a wiser, peaceful kind? What will be the point of all our strife? The only thing that lives on Is how we touched another life.

Gravity lengthens the heart And moving sidewalks Is a foundation's art I can't breathe But I'm trying to start To paint a circle On the blurry eye chart You can't say There's nobody to meet you All they are Are these chemicals to greet you All we do Is written upon our face We stall And bring spirals all around Your feet aren't touching the ground Your ears don't register the sound Your head's way up high in the clouds Or the deep end of the ocean And I'm afraid to swim Thrown across the sky Like a knot of sparrows You assemble on the ground Like a throng of arrows You eye the crooked path Through the straight and narrows And aim to set it right You have daisies for eyes A mouth like a rose And the voice of a lion Scatter your petals on the ground No need to be wise or profound Just follow the light & the sound And knee deep in heaven Knee deep in heaven

When you send the music high There's nothing to dream about When you send the music high It becomes enchanting Nothing to talk about Nothing to write about Nothing to fret about Here, it's all enchanting We'll be singing this every year Looking high from the far-out sphere It's all just so inviting It's all just so enlightening It's all just so inviting now (I hear them singing)
